Welcome!
Steeped in history this 17th Century Coaching Inn was extended in the 1800's to include the blacksmiths shop and stables, now the dining room, and one of the upstairs rooms was the court house to the Ewecross district. Here the J.P.'s met to renew the licenses for many of the Inn's in the area, and also to deal with petty crime. The Wheatsheaf has also been used as a Coroner's Court when the need arose.
